Join us for an exclusive update on the Building Commission’s efforts in NSW to make significant strides in improving building construction standards. Established by the government in 2019 to tackle issues plaguing apartment buildings like Opal Towers and Mascot Towers, the Commission, under the leadership of David Chandler OAM, has already improved standards in NSW.

Hear from David Chandler OAM, the inaugural Building Commissioner, who will provide insights into the Commission’s activities, challenges it has faced and the strategies it has implemented to regulate the building of residential apartment buildings in NSW. Hear firsthand about the impact of the Commission’s work, including calling out dodgy builders, strengthening regulations, and enhancing services for purchasers.

Join us on Wednesday 15 May to gain valuable insights into the state of building construction in NSW, learn about the Commission’s successes and ongoing efforts to combat problematic practices and participate in a Q&A session with David Chandler OAM.
